Love As Strong As Death

Set me as a seal upon your heart,
as a seal upon your arm.
For love is strong as death,
    passion fierce as the grave.
Its flashes are flashes of fire,
    a raging flame.
Many waters cannot quench love,
    neither can floods drown it.
If one offered for love
all the wealth of one's house,
    it would be utterly scorned.

~Song of Solomon 8:6-7

"When we love someone deeply, we create a bond, a life together, a spiritual life in which our anxiety about ourselves is eased by our attachment to another. We cannot know whether this new life carries on into another dimension after death, but we can know that it sustains us in living and the loss of that courage to live is the death we fear most."
~From A WIND SWEPT OVER THE WATERS by John Nichols. "For Love is Strong As Death", pg 74.

Love deeply and love well, my friends!
